Let me introduce myself, I'm Joanne, your barista here at CuppaJo Creations! I live in the ever changing (sometimes extreme) weather of Manitoba, Canada. So hot drinks are a must, considering winter lasts for approximately 6 months of the year :) I personally have an absolute weakness for a good cup of coffee. I am always having friends over for a cup (or a pot ;) and it fuels my day, as does things that I am passionate about. Such as this business. So creating a name for my small venture really wasn't too hard!!
When I started creating slideshow presentations I didn't think that I would eventually try to make something bigger of it. A family member had recently gotten married and I came across a software program for creating "moving picture" slideshows and it caught my eye. With that my very first CuppaJo was born. The praise I recieved from it was very humbling and flattering. This was something I immediately wanted to do for a hobby.
Since that time I've had my hands full raising two small daughters and working as a server full-time but I have still managed to make the time for the occasional client wanting a specific video. I have the overwhelming desire to change this. I am finding myself wanting to pursue this further, not only because I enjoy it but also because I have seen the sentimental effect that these sorts of presentations have on people. I fell in love with the idea of not just looking through books of old photos but seeing it on a screen and watching it come to life.
I have since invested in some professional branded software and use high-quality products because I believe that you should be getting what your memories are worth.
